Cemberlitas Bath was built in 16th century by Nurbanu Sultan who was the wife of Sultan Selim II to obtain income for the complex of Valide-i Atik which was located in Uskudar. The glass case of Cemberlitas Hammam which is one of the works of Mimar Sinan is built up with dome. The tepidarium is passed through original wooden door.

Hammam has 26 basins in total and its heated marble platform which is located under the dome was built bigger than its similars. It serves double bath nowadays and is located in Cemberlitas.

However during Sultan Abdulaziz reign part of the women's section was destroyed while the road was being widened. Therefore, only men's section is in use today.
