The hotel was clean, nice furnished, situated perfectly, breakfast room has a beautiful view. Noise was a little high, but as the room is air conditioned, it was not so big problem, we could close the windows. The room was a bit too little, window looked to a wall, otherwise it was o.k. The stuff was very kind. Airport shuttle was absolutely correct.

Two of us stayed at the Hotel Alzer for three days in mid April. We were
very pleased in every way. The staff was friendly and helpful. They happily booked
concerts and tours for us. The free computer and internet service in the lobby is nice for anyone who doesn't travel with a laptop.
The building has great charm. The rooms and public areas appear to have been
recently refurbished but maintain their original character. The bathrooms were modern with showers the had great hot water and water pressure. Breakfast was the typical Turkish buffet type breakfast, served in
a very pleasent terrace with great view of marmara sea and blue mosque.
Location was more than ideal, it is just in the center of the oldtown.

Super little hotel, ideal location for visiting all the major sites. Most are within easy walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The room a little small, but beautifully clean and comfortable. Dining in the dining room on the top floor is unsurpassed for the view. However, the food was disappointing and the price Turkish Lira 185.50 (cash) the most expensive we had during the whole six days in Istanbul for a mediocre meal. The price/quality is not justified. Breakfast on the other hand is great. Apart from the dissapointment of dinner, a great place to stay.
