Excellent Hotel. I initially booked a superior single room and due to my booking being unavailable I spent my first night in a larger family room at no extra cost. This was a little inconvenient as I couldn't unpack my case until after breakfast next morning when the single room became available. The hotel was immaculate, comfortable and in a quiet area yet still within walking distance of the Spice Market, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace with many little cafe�s close by. Excellent breakfast and free internet connection available. Reception staff very friendly and helpful speaking good English. I would recommend this hotel.

I have stayed 4 nights in gulhane park hotel with my wife and 3 kids , we really enjoyed staying in this hotel , the staff were very kind and nce especialy yagmor ,erel,and irfan , the room was very clean , we liked the breakfast , the hotel is 5minutes walk from most attractions , close to 2tram station . I would stay in same hotel in my next visit to istanbul .

clean hotel with friendly staff.
excellent location in low-season, otherwise I think it the neighborhood will be to crowded with tourists.
Very close to attractions, but quiet at night.

Unfortunately no nice views from rooms.
the room was a bit too small for 2 adults + tho children.

Generally fullfiled all expectations. Rooms good, clean, good service. Breakfast reasonable. Excellent position for sightseeing. NO INTERNET during the whole stay - according to receptionist some unexpected problems, prommised service did not appear.

I decided to book the Gulhane Park Hotel after reading favourable reviews and getting an excellent price on the room at istanbulhotels.com. The hotel is conveniently located in the oldtown and close to all the shops and restaurants. The room was lovely and clean. The bar area was OK if a little dark and dingy. However the staff were incredibly helpful, the concierge was great as were the check in staff. Would absolutely recommend it.
