Both myself and my partner where very disapointed with the above hotel,so much so,that we only stayed one night.The problems we encountered where quite shocking,the room was damp,the shower unit fell of the wall,and the electrics were exposed in the bedroom and bathroom we also could not open the shutters on the windows,and we also had a disused jacuzzi dumped outside our door,it did not resemble anything close to what was advertised.
With regards to yourselfs and the way you responded we would like to thank for all your help in this matter and to say well done to the Hotel Alzer a lovely hotel with wonderful staff would have no problem in recomending this Hotel.. Regards,O.Marchetti &J.Kane

A truly WONDERFUL hotel!
Personal service, the staff went out of their way to look after us and accommodate us, and make sure we were aware of all of the good things in Istanbul to see and do.
A beautifully decorated hotel right in the heart of the old city, so close to everything. Clean, tidy and well presented.
A delicious buffet breakfast every morning too....yum!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone- I will be staying here again!

Staff of STONE HOTEL said they never get any information about my reservation from your site.(no fax,no e-mail)
So when I arrived at this hotel,they did not have enough room for me,then I could not stay same room in 5 straight days.I was asked to move other hotel one day.
I was disappointed whether your site or this hotel's staff is wrong.

Very well located in the heart of the old city of Istanbul...

Great location, nice, helpful staff on the desk.
Clean rooms and toilet. Desk staff are always willing to help and will give good advice on where to go out. Breakfast has a fair variety.
On the downside internet does not work so dont bring your laptap and there are no tea/coffee makers in room. These are two areas which could be improved. But overall an enjoyable stay. Had a great time.

Hi Haci,
Sorry, I did not stay at Stone Hotel. I was at the Ottoman Hotel Imperial. It was a small room but clean and had everything you would want. The smallness did not bode well for spending any time in the room unless sleeping and using the bathroom which was difficult to maneuver around. A little expensive for what was received (147.95 TL). It was fine for the few hours I spent in the room.

Very nice boutique hotel. Good location in Sultanahmet. 5 min. walk to Hippodrome, Agia Sophia, etc.
Friendly staff.
Beautiful patio in back of hotel with wifi, etc.
I would highly recommend it.
